Q1. Is BCD Technologies Licensed to transport and treat hazardous chemicals like pesticides?
Yes BCD Technologies is fully licensed by the Queensland EPA and have been in operation, processing pesticides for many years. Following destruction of a consignment of Scheduled Waste, the consignor is provided with a Destruction Certificate in accordance with state regulations.
Q2. Do you have qualified experts on hand to identify chemicals and advise on the most appropriate approach to management and disposal?
BCD technologies has highly trained and experienced professionals on staff to advise clients on the most cost effective and safest management plan for hazardous waste materials. We also have access to a broad range of specialists within the DoloMatrix group of companies to help resolve a very wide range of waste management issues and provide a wide range of environmental consulting services.
Q3. Can you treat solid pesticides?
Yes. BCD Technologies has many years of experience extracting and safely destroying the active agents from solid pesticides using a range of proven, state-of-the-art technologies.
Q4. We have sealed electrical equipment that is filled with PCB oil. Can BCD Technologies process these components?
Yes. BCD Technologies has trained operators, experienced in safely opening such components to extract the PCB oil prior to destruction of the oil.
Q5. Can BCD Technologies perform contaminated site cleanups?
BCD Technologies works hand-in-hand with other companies in the DoloMatrix group such as Chemsal, SRL Plasma and Entech Industries to resolve a wide range of soil contamination issues. Technologies used for contaminated site remediation include thermal desorption, chemical fixation and the patented Dolocrete® technology. We can assess your particular situation and advise on the most appropriate course of action.
Q6. Does BCD Technologies recycle materials?Yes. We try to recycle where possible. Many recyclable, clean metals are recovered from components that we process.
Q7. We are outside of Australia. Is BCD Technologies able to assist with our waste issue?
Yes. While BCD Technologies itself, operates only in Australia and accepts waste from a limited number of Pacific Nations as an Australian Government aid project, our parent company, DoloMatrix International, as well as SRL Plasma and Entech Industries, members of the DoloMatrix Group, have provided complete turnkey solutions to a range of clients in other countries including The United Kingdom, The United States, Japan, Mexico and Saudi Arabia.
Q8. Is the PLASCON® technology used for destruction of POPs available to be installed in our own plant?
Yes. The patented PLASCON® technology owned by SRL Plasma is available for installation throughout the World. SRL Plasma provides a turnkey solution to clients in any country to establish and operate the Plascon process. Assistance can be given in determining feasibility, gaining regulatory approval as well as in establishing the process and ongoing maintenance and support.
